Pics of Tok Raja Pidta coming soon

  1. I first read about Luangpor Khron's Phra Pidta on a magazine 20 years ago which talked about a man who was shot after a brawl but did not die due to the protective prowess of Tok Raja's Pidta. I was not so much bought into the story but was immediately captivated by the looks of this specially made amulet. Unlike many other Pidta's Tok Raja's amulet were made in 3D and were able to sit upright. It looked so human like to me as if someone purportedly made it as an image of himself. Looking harder into the amulet it actually looked very much like Luangpor Khron himself.

Most Pidta's have a belly which resembled Phra Sangatchai the Wealth Buddha except that it is covering his face/eyes. However Luangpor Khron's Pidta is slightly elongated and slim with most of his amulets doing without the belly. Although some specimens do have the belly in them they were still not as prominent as those made by other Gurus.

I have many customers who were also captivated by Tok Raja's Pidta, I have even a Swiss customer who knew nothing about LP Khron and came to my shop for the very first time. And she........yes it is a she..........she immediately took fancy of the Pidta without any hesitation she drew a check and took it home for her husband. About 8 months later she came back and bought a double sided amulet of Lp Khron on one side and Pidta on the other. She was very pleased with the deal.

I have seen many Pidta's but none can come close to Luangpor Khron. It is this weird sensation and feeling about his amulet that captivates the eyes immediately. It has to be Lp Khron's Metta doing the job. There were many different types of materials being used, those which I have personally came across were Ivory which were extremely rare, these have Mantras handwritten on the back. There were also those made from herbs, tree saps, holy powder, silver, alloy, lead, cast iron......you name it he has them mostly made.

Most of his Pidta's were quite big but occasionally small specimens are available but rarer. It is said that the ones which were White in color commands exorbitant prices as they were of the early batch and limited pieces were being made back than.

It is my great honor that after 10 years of waiting and reading about Tok Raja that I was finally able to acquire some of his Pidta's.I have a friend who is also a hard core fan of Luangpor Khron's Pidta and amulets. Unfortunately he is not the least interested in selling any of his Pidta's from Tok Raja. I have tried numerous attempts to get him to release his amulets but he is adamant about it. His answer to me was " It is extremely difficult to find an authentic piece these days and once sold there is no way of getting another similar piece because all of them were hand made personally by Luangpor Khron himself. That itself is the value of his amulets.

Personally, I think it is the chemistry and destiny when it comes to a Guru/Disciple or follower relationship. Such things cannot be forced but brought together naturally. As such when you have an affinity or great love over a particular Guru, I am very sure that he will be connected to you in some way and bless you in the course which you are looking forward to.

Though I have never met Luangpor Khron personally since he passed on even before I was being born, I have the same and deepest respect for him which I have for my Guru Luangpor Lam of Wat Samakitham(Lad Prao) With the right intention I always believe that these Arahants will always bless us with good tidings.
